Learning Support Assistant - Grade B (FTE £25,615 - please note salary would be on a pro-rata basis)
Peel Common Primary School is seeking an outstanding, enthusiastic, and highly motivated LSA to join our dedicated team from November 2026. This will be a fixed term contract for the remainder of the academic year.
The role involves supporting pupils with EHCPs with their learning, predominantly on a 1:1 basis. The posts are in Year 5 and Year 6. Our children require their trusted person every day of the week therefore the role is 30 hours a week 8:45 - 15:15 Monday- Friday.

We would like to appoint a person who:
· is flexible, reliable and has personal resilience – an ability to start each day afresh.
· puts the child first and the safeguarding of pupils at the heart of everything
· can support children with additional needs who need adaptations to learning on a more 1:1 basis
· can build positive relationships with staff and pupils
· has some experience at working in a primary school (desirable) and potentially a Level 3 NVQ qualification.
