Job Introduction

Droxford Junior School is a successful, friendly, village school set in the Meon Valley. The children here are wonderful and the staff are experienced, creative and proactive. 

We are seeking an enthusiastic, resourceful LSA Level 2 (Grade C) who will join the team and make a real impact in the classroom setting. The role requirement is Mon – Fri with all planning in place which makes that role easier. The position is to start November 2025.

The successful candidate will…

  • have GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and Mathematics
  • have experience of working with children in the Primary phase
  • Be happy to lead pre-planned, short, whole-class sessions
  • able to motivate and engage all children
  • be able to use their initiative and be resourceful
  • be a strong team member
  • have patience and strong communication skills
  • has a good understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding procedures

Hours of Work: Mon – Tues 9-1pm term, Wed – Fri 9-3pm (inc 30min lunch) term time only – 24.5hrs per week
