Bishop Challoner is a very popular, oversubscribed and successful school serving the Community of Basingstoke and the surrounding area. We seek to serve families who wish to educate their children in a faith school.
We are expanding our team of dedicated Learning Support Assistants and are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and energetic individual to this permanent post.

What you offer:
· The ability to deliver literacy & numeracy intervention at KS3 & KS4
· The knowledge to work both on a 1:1 basis and as a lead for small groups as a part of the schools use of Pupil Premium to achieve measurable gains
· An understanding of a range of learning difficulties and how to develop effective strategies to support students overcome these barriers to learning
· An attention to detail for record keeping and using databases as a part of school pupil monitoring processes
· GCSE Grade C or above in English & Mathematics, HTLA or equivalent.
This post is suitable for a graduate looking to obtain experience before joining the teaching profession.
