Job Introduction
We are seeking a caring, patient and dedicated Learning Support Assistant Level 1 to provide 1:1 support for a child with communication needs in our nurturing infant school community. This is a one-year fixed-term position and an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference to a child’s learning, confidence and wellbeing every day.
You will work closely with a child on a 1:1 basis, supporting their communication, engagement through Makaton, enabling access to learning throughout the school day. You will work alongside the class teacher, SENDCo and wider staff team to help create a positive, consistent and nurturing environment where the child can continue to thrive.
