Learning Support Assistant - 25 hours per week (fixed term until 31.08.25)

Job Introduction

At Ludlow Junior School, we work hard to make sure that we are meeting the needs of all of our pupils, inside and outside of the classroom, whatever their background, ability or interests. Therefore, we are looking Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) who are enthusiastic, dynamic and energetic. You will work closely with a class teacher within a supportive team to develop learning for all children - in our school, LSAs work with all of the children, not only those with identified special educational needs.

Our current vacancies may require a high level of 1-2-1 teaching and support for specific pupils with their academic progress, communication, and social emotional behaviour difficulties. Some children will have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and you will be teaching and supporting flexibly within a class environment. Additionally, you might work with small groups or individuals outside the classroom, sometimes supporting in the playground environment too.

Visits to our school are welcomed - if you would like to book a tour of the school please contact recruitment@ludlowjunior.org.uk

Interviews will take place on Tuesday 10th December 2024 and you should be prepared to be available for the whole day.

Please submit your completed application by email to recruitment@ludlowjunior.org.uk
