Learning Support Assistant (EYFS)

Job Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to come and join our team. This role is located in EYFS. The role would be for 26 hours 5 days a week- timings to be agreed by candidate and year team based on the year group needs.

The role will be working as a Learning Support Assistant.  We use a team approach and so this role will involve working 1:1 with specific children with an EHCP, whole class and group support under the direction of the class teacher and year leader.  

 

You will have the opportunity to work within a creative and dedicated team. Previous experience is desirable but not essential, and further professional development opportunities will be available.

The post requires the successful applicant to keep accurate records and work with the Class Teacher, Support Staff, SENCO, Outside Agencies and Parents/Carers. Applicants should therefore have excellent communication skills and have a proven record of working effectively as part of a team. The successful candidate will be offered the appropriate support and training for the role.
