We are currently seeking to appoint a class based Learning Support Assistant for a KS1 class. We are looking for candidates with particular skills and experience in delivering interventions, assessments and SEN programmes, but who are also patient and caring with clear expectations of behaviour.   You will work closely with the class teacher to support the class on a day to day basis.

We are looking for somebody who:

  • Is conscientious, enthusiastic, patient and flexible
  • Has good time management with effective organisational skills
  • Is able to work independently to deliver interventions
  • Demonstrates good interpersonal skills with children and adults
  • Has effective communication skills
  • Is experienced in delivering support programmes, including speech and language work
  • Can keep detailed records and provide feedback to staff and parents
  • Is able to work independently and with initiative
  • Is a committed team member
  • Commit to the role to help the pupil on a day to day basis.
