Park Gate Primary School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA2) to join our enthusiastic team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in supporting children across the primary age range, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
You will be working closely within a year group, providing general classroom support and assisting pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). The ideal candidate will bring energy, empathy, flexibility, and a genuine desire to make a difference in children’s lives.
What We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Have empathy for pupils and a nurturing, patient approach
- Can support children with a range of needs, including those with social, emotional, and communication difficulties
- Have experience delivering small group or one-to-one interventions
- Possess strong basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Communicate clearly and confidently with children and adults alike
- Are discreet, trustworthy, and respectful of confidentiality
- Enjoy working as part of a team and bring a good sense of humour to your work!
