Job Introduction
We are looking to appoint a motivated and nurturing Learning Support Assistant to join our team in September. The role will include 1:1 support, small group work, leadership of interventions and lunchtime supervision.
At the heart of our church school is our vision for all members of our community to ‘learn and live - life in all fullness’ – inspired by John 10:10. As members of St. Peter’s School, we are also encouraged by the lessons we see in the life and learning of St. Peter, who challenges us to extend fullness of life to our local and global community as we seek to ‘use whatever gift you have received to serve others’ (1 Peter 4:10).
We regard our school as being a place for ‘life in all fullness’ adventures, proud of our enriching curriculum and wider provision that enables every child to flourish. We are looking for someone who can uphold and enhance our church school vision, committed to meeting the needs of every child.

- A supportive church school community, rooted in our vision of ‘life in all fullness’
- Beautiful grounds and excellent facilities within a Grade 2 listed building
- Polite, friendly and enthusiastic children
- A team of friendly, dedicated and knowledgeable staff
- Excellent CPD opportunities, including scope for teacher training
- A school committed to growing and nurturing the whole child.
The successful candidate will:
- Uphold our church school vision of ‘life in all fullness’
- Be creative and adaptable – able to respond to individual needs
- Be well organised and motivated - able to lead small group interventions
- Be welcoming, patient and friendly - able to support positive well-being
- Uphold a restorative and relational approach to behaviour management
- Be resilient, encouraging and supportive - able to build strong relationships
- Be determined to achieve the very best with high aspirations for every child
