Learning Support Assistant / Midday Supervisory Assistant
Temporary Position
Ringwood Junior School is seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly hardworking team.
The post is to work with individuals and groups of children as well as giving general learning support. The suitable candidate will have well-developed interpersonal skills, enabling effective relationships with a variety of different people.
Included in the role is the requirement to perform Midday Supervisory Assistant duties for 2.5 hours a week, i.e. 30 minutes per day. This element of the role will be paid at an A rate.

School experience is desirable but not essential for this post as training will be provided.
The post is for 27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday during term time. 25 hours will be at the LSA grade C, and 2.5 hours at the MSA grade A. The post is a temporary one, which is expected to run until the end of the academic year – i.e. July 2026.
The inteview date is Monday 26th January 2026.
The start date will commence as soon as the pre-employment checks have been completed for the successful candidate.
