Learning Support Assistant (LSA) Required

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team on a full-time, term-time only basis.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting children throughout the school day. You will work closely with individual pupils on a 1:1 basis and with small groups, providing tailored support to children with a wide range of learning needs, including those with more complex Special Educational Needs (SEN). The hours are from 8.45am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday, Term Time only.

- Has successful experience of working with primary-aged children.

- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with children, colleagues and parents.
- Is calm, patient, kind and nurturing in their approach.
- Works effectively as part of a supportive team with a positive, 'can do' attitude.
- Is adaptable, resilient and able to respond positively to changing situations.
- Can work independently, using initiative when appropriate.
- Is organised, resourceful and committed to providing high-quality support for all children.
- Is committed to inclusive practice and supporting all children to thrive within a mainstream setting.
- Is comfortable supporting children with personal care and hygiene when required.
- Has a clear understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and professional responsibilities.
- Is supportive of the Catholic ethos and values of our school.
Annual salary for LSA : Grade C, Step 1-5 : £25,186 - £26,244 pro rata. Actual salary £16,421 - £17,111
