Job Introduction
We are looking for an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our hardworking and dedicated support team at our wonderful school. Situated in Portchester, our school has fabulous grounds which the children use in their learning and we use to support our community.
The successful candidate is likely to be working in Key Stage 2 initially but we welcome applications from people who are willing to work across the whole primary age.
The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the class teachers to support individuals, small groups and the whole class in their learning and will have:
- recent experience working or volunteering with children
- be able to use their initiative
- have a nurturing, patient and caring approach with all children
- be able to build positive relationships with children, colleagues, parents and staff
- an open mind and commitment to developing own professional practice
- a positive outlook!
In addition to working in the class, this role includes lunchtime supervision each day.
