Job/Person Summary


 We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic professional person to join our Learning Support and lunchtime supervisor team. This is a temporary post in the first instance, with a view of making it permanent for the right candidate.
 
 You will be an integral part of the school in ensuring our children are at the heart of everything we do. You will be working across the Primary phase and alongside class teachers to best meet the needs of our children. Your role will involve small group work, 1-1 support, school trips, playground and lunchtime duties.

If you have the following, we would love to hear from you:- 

  • Relevant qualifications to enable you to fulfil the requirements of the advertised role including GCSE (or equivalent) maths, English  (Grade 5 or above)
  • A calm and polite manner with the desire to work with children and support them in their learning
  • First Aid training an advantage but can be given according to need.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate well
  • High level of confidentiality and safeguarding knowledge (safeguarding training will be provided) and the ability to deal sensitively with people and information
  • A team player, with a good sense of humour, who has a desire to throw themselves into school life
