Experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant - Resourced Provision
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract: Fixed term until 31 August 2027
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (39 weeks per year)
Salary: Grade B/C depending on experience (£24,796 - £27,111 FTE)
Fleet Infant School is seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our Resourced Provision for pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Opened in September 2025, our specialist provision supports up to nine pupils through a combination of personalised learning within the provision and inclusion within mainstream classrooms. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a skilled and dedicated team committed to ensuring every child achieves their full potential.
The successful applicant will work alongside our Specialist Teacher, Resourced Provision team and SENDCo to provide high-quality support and positive learning experiences for our pupils.
We are looking for someone who:
- has experience supporting children with ASD, SEND and/or SEMH needs
- is calm, patient and positive in their approach
- builds trusting and supportive relationships with children
- has strong communication and interpersonal skills
- understands confidentiality and safeguarding responsibilities
- can follow guidance whilst also working confidently on their own initiative
- is organised, adaptable and reflective in their practice
- has strong English and Maths skills
- brings enthusiasm, positivity and a good sense of humour to the role
