SEN Learning Support Assistant (SEMH Resourced Provision)

Are you a skilled, compassionate practitioner who believes every child deserves the opportunity to thrive?

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join Ready to Learn (R2L), our new SEMH Resourced Provision. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a highly experienced and supportive team committed to helping children overcome barriers, develop confidence and achieve success.

Working alongside the SENCo, R2L Leader and Class Teacher, you will support pupils with social communication and social, emotional and mental health needs, providing personalised support to help them access learning, build independence and flourish within a nurturing environment.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about inclusion, has a positive outlook and genuinely enjoys helping children to flourish.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Brings energy, warmth, humour and a positive outlook.
  • Has experience supporting children with SEND, including social communication and SEMH needs.
  • Can build positive relationships and maintain high expectations for every child.
  • Is resilient, flexible, proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Is comfortable providing personal and intimate care when required.
  • Holds GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).
