Learning Support Assistant with Lunchtime Role

Job Introduction

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, resourceful and conscientious Learning Support Assistant who could make a positive impact to our YR pupils. The successful applicant will work mostly on a 1:1 basis with children but also support the whole class and small groups.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has GCSE grades at least C or equivalent in English and Maths;
  • Has experience of working with children;
  • Is able to motivate and engage children;
  • Is able to use their initiative and be resourceful;
  • Works well as a part of a team;
  • Has patience and strong communication skills;
  • Would like to develop some experience and understanding of supporting pupils with special needs and their daily life around school.
  • Is interested in working with children with additional needs
