Job Introduction
We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to work for 27.5 hours per week.
We are looking for someone who is flexible, adaptable and able to show high levels of initiative. Knowledge and experience of the curriculum is desirable but, more importantly, we are seeking an individual who is keen and quick to learn and who is an excellent team player.
We are immensely proud of our school and we are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join our happy team for one year initially.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience of working with young children
- Is empathetic and can build good relationships with children
- Has a very calm and positive manner
- Is a good team player and can use initiative
- has GCSE grade C/4 or above in English and Maths
- Has a good understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding practices
- Is committed to the inclusion of all children in a mainstream setting
