An exciting opportunity has arisen to work at Stoke Park Infant school working as a Learning Support Assistant. This role is ideal for someone who wishes to gain experience working with children or a newly qualified teacher that wishes to develop their skills and confidence. We are looking for a learning support assistant who:
- Enjoys working with children and has a nurturing attitude and puts children’s needs first
- Caring, calm and patient
- Able to work as part of a team, learning with and from other colleagues
- Enjoys working independently and with initiative
- Able to work effectively with children to move their learning forward
- Highly organised and has good time management skills
- Flexible, proactive and resourceful
- Competency in literacy and numeracy
- Demonstrates high levels of emotional intelligence
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Able to provide written and verbal feedback to the class teacher as required
- Understands confidentiality and safeguarding procedures
