Learning Support Assistant

Job Introduction

Job Person Summary:

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team and support children across the school day. This role includes working within the classroom environment and working with small groups of pupils. The successful candidate will be able to support the Teacher to raise the learning and attainment of all pupils.

About you:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous successful experience of working with children
  • Be able to work as part of a team with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • Have excellent communication skills, relating well to children, colleagues and parents
  • Have a calm, positive and kind approach
  • Be adaptable to ever changing situations
  • Be able to work independently and with initiative
  • Be resilient, flexible, organised and resourceful
  • Have a clear understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding procedures

  • Job Start Date:                      Monday 1st September 2025
  • Contract / Hours:                  Part time, fixed term (until July 2026)             
  • Salary Details:                       LSA - Grade B Lunch Grade A
  • Hours of Work:                      8.30am – 1pm (to include lunch duty)
