Job Introduction
We have a rare opportunity for someone wonderful to join the support team at Sheet Primary School in September. This is a part time, permanent position.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated LSA to join our small, friendly and hard-working team and the role will involve supporting children in class.
Candidates should have Maths and English qualifications to GCSE Grade C or above or their equivalent. Experience of supporting young children in a school setting would be an advantage but is not essential.
We are looking for someone:
• Who has a warm and caring child-centred approach to learning and progress
• Who is positive and cheerful and has a 'can do' attitude
• Who has an ability to inspire pupils
• Who can work collaboratively with colleagues and who enjoys being part of a team
• Who has very good organisational skills, the ability to use their initiative and to prioritise their many responsibilities
• Who enjoys being flexible but always maintains high standards
• Who has some experience in delivering phonics lessons, interventions or other LSA experience
