Job Introduction
Lymington CE Infant School is looking for an experienced, positive and passionate adult who genuinely loves working with children. Hours of work will be 8:15am to 3:00pm during term time. This is a fixed term contract initially for one year. There is potential to extend hours by delivering some of our before and after school club care if interested. Candidates should have recent and relevant experience of working with Early Years/KS1 children. We would especially welcome applications from HLTA’s or recent graduates considering entering the teaching profession.

We are looking for a person who has;
- GCSE English and Maths ( Grade 4 + or equivalent)
- A relevant childcare qualification (or equivalent)
- Current experience of working in Early Years or KS1
- A passion for working with children and helping them develop
- Ability to support the class teacher in the delivery of learning activities for individuals and large groups of children
- The ability to evaluate pupils’ progress and adapt planning where necessary
- Have relevant experience of working with pupils with additional needs and delivering interventions
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a good sense of humour and is a team player
- The ability to be flexible, resourceful and proactive
- Understands confidentiality and safeguarding procedures
- An understanding of our Christian ethos underpinned by our core values of love, courage and respect in order to improve outcomes for all children
