Medstead CofE Primary school is a thriving single entry village school with a Resource Provision for the Deaf. We are looking to appoint a cheerful and optimistic person to join a well-motivated and enthusiastic school team.
We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to support our children in their development and learning.
The successful candidate would be working in our Early Years class. We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting our children in progressing through the EYFS.
The successful candidate will:
Be creative, organised and passionate about working with children and their families.
Have experience of supporting children with their learning and development
Have an interest in children and the ability to motivate and inspire as well as adjust differentiated tasks to meet the needs of the individual and good behaviour management skills.
Have the enthusiasm and creativity to ensure the highest possible standards of pupil achievement, personal development and well-being are achieved.
Need to have or be willing to be trained to work with children with SEN.
Have effective communication skills with the class teacher, parents and staff across the school.
Have a desire to work as part of a team, committing fully to agreed priorities, adhering to school policies and supporting Christian ethos of the school.
