Learning and Care Assistant
Required from September 2026
Grade B (Actual Salary £17,913)
31.25 hrs per week (worked over 5 days, 8am - 3pm, includes a 30-minute lunch and 15-minute break)
We require Learning and Care Assistants to provide 1:1 support for students with physical disabilities. The role will include both academic support and personal care (assisting with mealtimes and toileting). You do not need previous experience as full training will be provided, and you will be part of a small team who will work closely with students with physical disabilities.
Successful candidates should have good communication skills, well developed interpersonal skills and a flexible approach, as well as the ability to work within a team. A commitment to supporting the opportunities and education of children with physical disabilities is essential.
The role would equally suit people who already have experience of working with students, those returning to the workplace, or those with previous experience of working in a caring profession.
