Job/Person Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Fair Oak Family this autumn term as our School Librarian.
Fair Oak Junior School is a vibrant five-form entry school which shares an amazing campus location with Wyvern Nursery, Fair Oak Infant School and Wyvern College – nearly 3000 children aged from 9 months to 16 years learn across our schools each day.
Fair Oak Junior School is a magical school to work in with lovely children who are curious about the world around them and who love to learn new things. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate that they:
- Love reading all kinds of genres and be able to encourage others to do the same
- Are organised, methodical and tidy
- Will be able to build a rapport with the children and supervise them whilst they are in the library
- Have high expectations of themselves and the people they work with.
- Have a positive attitude and be keen to improve their own practice.
- Have emotional intelligence and a sense of fun!
