Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant

Job Introduction

We are appointing a fun and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant to join our friendly team. To start on 6th January 2025.
We are looking for a calm and caring person who enjoys working with children to ensure that our children are happy, healthy and safe during this important part of the day.

What you’ll need
• to develop a good rapport with children and colleagues
• to demonstrate a willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing needs of the day and the children
• to be reliable and punctual
• to be able to work as a team during the busy lunchtime period, act on initiative and listen to colleagues

  • to have a positive, can do, open attitude and be willing to learn new skills especially when supporting our children in our inclusive environment

What you’ll do
• Prepare and serve food
• Clear away and wash up

  • Set up and clear tables, chairs etc. after lunch
  • Assist and supervise eating, promoting independence and positive behaviour
  • Engaging in playful experiences with children during lunchtime
  • Support all children during the lunchtime including those with Special Educational Needs
