Job Introduction
We are looking to extend our really great team of lunchtime supervisors. Are you responsible, caring, enthusiastic and reliable? Do you genuinely enjoy working with children and as part of a team? If so, then we need you!
Duties will include:
- Supervising the children in the lunchtime hall, outside on the playground or in their classrooms during wet lunch breaks
- Promoting healthy eating and helping children while they eat their lunch
- Encouraging positive play by supervising a range of playground games
- Ensuring all children are safe, happy and well behaved at all times
- Ensuring any issues are dealt with in a positive and thoughtful way and, where appropriate, deciding which issues should be raised with relevant staff
- Assisting with associated duties, e.g. cleaning up spillages, ensuring tables are clean, ensuring pupil hygiene
- Administering basic First Aid
- Following all school safeguarding and Health & Safety policies and procedures
