Job Title:               Marketing and Executive Administrator

Hours:                    Part time 08:00 – 12:00 Monday to Friday (20 hours per week)

Weeks:                   40 weeks per year (term time plus one week)


Job Description

The main purpose of the role is to:

Executive Administrator

  • Manage the calendars of the Head Teacher and SLT including organising meetings and the associated arrangements 
  • Support with any verbal or written communications on behalf of the Head Teacher and SLT
  • Prepare correspondence as necessary for the Head Teacher and SLT ensuring that matters are dealt with sensitively and confidentially
  • Review documents as required to ensure they are of the highest standard, up to date, free from errors and grammatical mistakes
  • Maintain electronic records and ensure any paper filing for the Head Teacher is dealt with promptly
  • Arrange and manage meetings for the Head Teacher and SLT to include the preparation of agendas, circulation of relevant information prior to the meeting, taking minutes (when required) and providing refreshments
  • Update and maintain the school website ensuring it contains the most up to date information 
  • Maintain the school calendar ensuring that is accurate and up to date

Marketing

  • Working with the Head Teacher to develop and implement a Marketing strategy ensuring that Eggar’s profile remains consistently high in the community and local area
  • Write press releases and liaise with local media channels
  • Write and design posts for Eggar’s social media
  • Collate and populate information for Eggar’s News ready for publication each Friday
  • Remain informed on upcoming community events to ensure Eggar’s is represented
  • Record internal events through photos and filming for Eggar’s News and social media
  • Publicise and be present at school events ensuring that they are recorded for marketing purposes. Flexibility over working hours will be required for these events.
  • Manage students and staff photo permissions
  • Network with WMAT and Hampshire schools for knowledge sharing and best practice
