Hours of Work: 5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only

Job/Person Summary
We are looking to appoint a calm, friendly and dynamic person to join our fun and dedicated lunch team. The successful candidates will be working in a supportive, structured role, and be a valued member of our school community.
You will need to:
- be proactive and promote positive play
- ideally have experience of working with children
- actively engage with children to ensure playtimes are enjoyable
- have an understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding procedures
- be able to work well with others (under guidance) and show own initiative
- be willing to undertake basic first aid training.
Main duties will include:
- effectively supervising pupils in the lunch hall/classrooms and outside on the playground
- encouraging positive play by leading a range of playground games
- ensuring the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils
- promoting healthy eating
- ensuring any issues are dealt with in a positive and thoughtful manner
- following safeguarding procedures
- basic first aid – training will be provided.
