Location: King's Academy Northern Parade
Position: Midday Supervisor
Contract: 10 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (TTO)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Do you enjoy working with children and making a positive difference to their school day? Are you caring, reliable, and passionate about supporting children’s wellbeing? We are looking for enthusiastic Midday Supervisors to join our supportive school team and help create a safe, happy, and engaging lunchtime experience for all pupils.
The Role
As a Midday Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting children during lunchtime by:
Supervising pupils in the dining hall and outdoor play areas
Actively engaging with children during play, leading games and activities where appropriate
Modelling positive play, cooperation, and respectful behaviour
Supporting inclusive play and encouraging children to build positive relationships
Using relational practice to help children feel safe, heard, and supported
Promoting positive behaviour and helping children to resolve minor conflicts calmly and fairly
Ensuring a safe and enjoyable lunchtime environment
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Enjoys interacting with children and supporting their social development
Is confident leading and modelling play activities
Has a calm, patient, and nurturing approach
Understands the importance of strong, positive relationships with children
Is reliable, approachable, and works well as part of a team
Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential, as full training and support will be provided.
