Job Introduction
Solent Academies Trust is seeking to recruit a part time professional, personable, and conscientious Minute Taker to join the Central Trust team.

The Minute Takers will provide support to our Governance Professional and will be able to work flexibly across our five academies. The role is not office based and will require face to face attendance at different schools, as well as working from home. Governance meetings are usually held between 4pm and 7pm, Monday to Friday, term time only. Flexibility is required to accommodate some meetings during the school day and virtual attendance on Teams, depending on the Academy Committee. The meetings are usually two hours and a set number of worked hours per meeting is a requirement.
You will be responsible for providing administrative support including notetaking at meetings, often sensitive and/or confidential, collating and presenting information in a clear format, preparing reports and agendas, producing accurate, factually, and grammatically correct meeting minutes and reports in a timely manner, updating and maintaining relevant computerised Committee records.
You will need to be a self-driven, enthusiastic and a highly organised individual who possess excellent time management skills, with the ability to work well under pressure. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate a high level of competency in ICT and be a strong communicator.
