  • Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the school office
  • Assist with school communications, website updates, finance and purchasing procedures, helping to keep the school running effectively behind the scenes.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and external partners to support the wider life of the school and contribute to a positive school experience for all.

What are we looking for?

  • Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities whilst remaining calm and professional under pressure.
  • Friendly, approachable and an excellent communicator who enjoys building positive relationships with children, families, staff and visitors.
  • A natural problem solver who can think on their feet, use initiative and find practical solutions with warmth, discretion and good judgement.
  • Accurate, detail-focused and able to maintain high levels of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Positive, flexible and solution-focused, with a good sense of humour and a willingness to be part of our close-knit school family.
  • Committed to safeguarding, equality, inclusion, health and safety, and the wellbeing of all members of the school community.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team, contributing positively to the wider life of the school.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Experience in an administrative, customer service or school office role, with the ability to manage records, communications and office systems efficiently.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications, and confidence in learning and using school-based systems.
  • Excellent written, numeracy and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • An understanding of GDPR, confidentiality requirements and the importance of handling sensitive information appropriately.
  • The confidence to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and a willingness to undertake training and professional development opportunities.
