Job Introduction
Castle Hill Infant School wishes to appoint a part time LSA. This role will be for the equivalent of 16.5 hours per week. This Learning Support Assistant role will be working one-to-one with a child in the classroom.
The successful candidate will:
- Be enthusiastic, creative, and embrace new ideas
- Have excellent oral and written standard of English
- Energetic, adaptable and full of initiative
- Be able to use their initiative to support both child initiated and teacher led learning
- Be able to support with social skills, self-care skills, emotional support and show empathy and understanding

- Willing to undertake training
- Encourage high standards and be a good role model
- Be empathetic to the importance of play in a child's learning and development
- Liaise with parents and outside agencies
