Part time MFL Primary Teacher

Job Introduction

Overton CE Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed French Teacher to join our vibrant and inclusive school community.

The Role

We are looking for a passionate teacher who can deliver engaging and high-quality French lessons across the primary phase. The successful candidate will inspire a love of languages and support children in developing confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing in French.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality French lessons for KS2 children

  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress

  • Work collaboratively with class teachers and leaders

  • Contribute to wider school life and enrichment opportunities

Person Specification

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience

  • Strong subject knowledge in French

  • Experience of teaching in a primary setting (desirable)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
