Part-Time Class Teacher (Fixed Term)

Are you a skilled and ambitious teacher with a strong track record of delivering high-quality teaching and raising standards? Merton Junior School is seeking an effective and reflective part-time Key Stage 2 Class Teacher (0.6 FTE) who is committed to ensuring every child achieves their very best.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident practitioner with strong subject knowledge, high expectations for behaviour, and a commitment to excellent teaching across KS2. We are looking for a teacher who can inspire pupils, maintain purposeful learning environments, and work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.

The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues to ensure consistency, continuity and high expectations across the week, using assessment effectively to inform teaching, identify gaps and accelerate pupil progress.

This is a fixed-term, part-time position (0.6 FTE, equivalent to three days per week), with the potential to become permanent.
