Salary: Grade B2 - B3 £25,615 - £25,958 (FTE) - actual £13,665 - £13,848

Henry Tyndale School is a successful and growing special school for pupils aged 4-19 with complex learning difficulties. We are looking for a reliable, caring and safety-conscious Minibus Driver to join our team and support the safe transport of our pupils between home, school and educational visits.
This role offers flexible, term-time working hours and provides an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and making a positive difference to their school experience.
Your Role Will Include:
- Transporting pupils safely to and from school each day.
- Driving pupils and staff to off-site educational visits in accordance with pre-arranged schedules.
- Working alongside a Bus Escort who will support pupils during journeys.
- Carrying out routine vehicle checks and ensuring the minibus is clean, maintained and ready for use.
- Reporting any vehicle defects, incidents or concerns promptly.
- Supporting the school's commitment to pupil safety and wellbeing at all times.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds a valid driving licence with D1 entitlement.
- Has fewer than five penalty points on their driving licence.
- Is MIDAS trained, or willing to undertake MIDAS training.
- Is dependable, punctual and professional.
- Enjoys working in a school environment and supporting children and young people with additional needs.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to safety and safeguarding.

Hours of Work
Term-Time Only
Core Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:15am-9:30am and 2:50pm-5:00pm
Additional Hours:
Available for minibus maintenance duties and supporting off-site class visits.
