Actual Salary: £16,467 to £18,356 (FTE £27,779 to £30,564)

Part Time - 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday (hours to be confirmed)

term time plus one week during holidays

We are seeking an organised and enthusiastic Federation Administration Officer (Recruitment and Training) to join our friendly and dedicated central administration team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting recruitment, onboarding and staff development across our federation.

 

Our schools cater for a wide range of special educational needs, from moderate to profound learning difficulties. We aim to provide a stimulating, creative environment where every individual is valued and supported to achieve their very best.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all stages of the recruitment process, from advertising vacancies to arranging interviews and completing pre-employment checks.
  • Support safeguarding-compliant recruitment practices in line with statutory guidance and federation procedures.
  • Maintain accurate personnel, recruitment and employment records.
  • Coordinate onboarding and induction arrangements for new employees.
  • Maintain staff training and qualification records across the federation.
  • Monitor mandatory training compliance and arrange refresher training within required timescales.
  • Work closely with the Executive Business Manager to support workforce development and training initiatives.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent administrative and organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Can manage multiple priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
  • Has excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Can work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrates the highest levels of professionalism, confidentiality and integrity.

Experience in a school or education setting, along with knowledge of school recruitment processes desirable, but not essential.
