Job Introduction

Part-Time Teacher – SEND Provision (Mornings Only)

Are you a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated teacher looking for a truly rewarding opportunity? Talavera Infant School is looking for a warm and proactive teacher to join our team from September 2025, working part-time (mornings only) in our well-established SEND Provision for children with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

This is a unique and exciting role that offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children who thrive with tailored, nurturing support. Our children are at the heart of everything we do, and we are proud to provide a setting that helps them flourish both emotionally and academically. You will be joining a highly supportive and experienced team, including our dedicated SENCo, who will work closely with you to help develop and embed outstanding practice. This role comes with the SEN minimum allowance.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Brings warmth, energy, and positivity to the classroom
  • Is collaborative, open to learning, and passionate about inclusive education
  • Can prioritise, plan, and organise effectively
  • Builds strong, trusting relationships with children, staff and families
  • Has a strong interest or experience in supporting children with significant additional needs (all children in the provision have EHCPs)

 Why Talavera Infant School?

  • We are a happy, inclusive and nurturing school that puts children first
  • We serve a wonderfully diverse community, with many children who have English as an Additional Language (EAL)
  • Creativity, curiosity and kindness are central to our ethos
  • Our SEND Provision is an integral part of the school and is valued by the whole community
  • We have a brilliant team who support one another and celebrate each other’s strengths
  • Staff wellbeing is a priority – we know that happy staff create the best outcomes for our children

We can offer you:

  • Delightful, enthusiastic children who are eager to learn in their own unique way
  • A positive and encouraging working environment
  • Excellent CPD and career development opportunities
  • A dedicated and experienced SENCo to guide and support you
  • A chance to grow as a teacher in a truly rewarding and purposeful role
  • A flexible, part-time position that supports work–life balance

If you’re ready to join a school where you’ll feel valued, supported, and inspired, we’d love to hear from you!
