Job Introduction
Primary Teacher / Learning Support Teacher
From April or September 2026
We are seeking to appoint a passionate skilled teacher with the energy and creativity to oversee our Key Stage 3 hub and ensure students in this provision receive excellent teaching and care. This would include the delivery of English and Maths to small groups. You will also oversee work undertaken by students who are unable to attend lessons for all or part of their timetable. You may already be a Learning Support Teacher used to working with students with additional needs, or have a primary teaching background. In this role you will support both academic and pastoral needs and will develop and deliver lessons to students alongside other staff.
You will join an already successful and motivated team, characterised by an ambitious drive for excellence centred on the school’s vision of ‘Success for All through Attainment, Resilience and Autonomy’.
Park Community School has recently been rebuilt. All lessons, across all subjects, are taught in modern facilities within our new school building. We offer a fantastic working environment, where staff well-being is truly valued.
We offer high quality support and programmes of professional development, which provide many opportunities. We encourage staff to be forward-thinking to keep the subject current and up-to-date and are very supportive of those seeking opportunities to develop teaching and learning.
