The Role
We are seeking an upbeat, energetic, and deeply committed Primary-trained Teacher to join our passionate team. You'll be supporting a small class of secondary-aged pupils who are working at Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) levels. This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to deliver a dynamic, adaptive learning model that truly meets pupils where they are.

What You’ll Do
You will teach and champion a small group of pupils with a wide range of sinificant needs, including:
- Cognitive and developmental delays
- Communication and interaction difficulties
- Social, emotional, and mental health challenges
Your role will involve:
- Creating vibrant, engaging EYFS and Primary level learning experiences tailored to older pupils
- Delivering adaptive, personalised learning that helps pupils take confident steps forward
- Implementing targeted interventions to support emotional regulation and social development
- Using a range of communication strategies such as Makaton and Widgit
- Collaborating closely with a supportive, skilled team—including therapists and external professionals
- Fostering a safe, inclusive, and inspiring atmosphere where every pupil feels valued and understood
What We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from you if you are:
- A qualified Primary Teacher (QTS)
- Experienced in supporting children with complex needs
- Knowledgeable about SEND strategies and interventions
- Skilled in adapting EYFS/Primary curriculum content for older SEN learners
- Familiar with Makaton or other communication systems (desirable)
- Experienced in EYFS (advantageous)
- Naturally nurturing, resilient, and adaptable
- An excellent communicator who shines when working as part of a team
- Someone who brings energy, positivity, and a can‑do spirit to every day
