We have a vacancy for a Second in Science and PE to join our rapidly improving school.
Henry Cort is an established school in Fareham and will be moving to a new state of the art building in Whiteley, planned to open from September 2027.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspirational and well-motivated person with a vision and commitment to outstanding teaching and learning to support the Head of Faculty (Head of Science) to lead and develop the growth of Science.
We would love to hear from you if you have the essential skills and experience from our Job Description/Person Specification and:
- have a strong understanding of what high quality teaching and learning looks like in Science
- are committed to creating a positive climate for learning for all students
- have the drive, energy, enthusiasm and vision to lead developments in the Science Department
- are passionate about teaching/high quality learning routinely deliver great, well planned, challenging lessons
- have a good sense of humour
- are energetic and ambitious for your students, your team and yourself
- are patient and understanding
- are well organised and work well under pressure
- are a supportive, proactive leader capable of building effective teams
- believe that Every Child can succeed
