At Clatford Church of England Primary School, we’re proud of our warm, inclusive ethos built on Love, Respect, and Courage. We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for some of our incredible young learners. This is a chance to be part of a nurturing team in a vibrant village school just minutes from Andover.
About the Role
This is a varied and rewarding position that may involve working in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, depending on the evolving needs of our pupils. You’ll be supporting children with SEN to access learning, build confidence, and develop essential skills—academically, socially, and emotionally.
This post also includes a Lunchtime Supervisor role, offering continuity and connection throughout the school day.

What We’re Looking For
Essential Qualities:
- Proven experience supporting SEN children in a primary setting
- A positive, can-do attitude and a calm, flexible approach
- High aspirations for all pupils, regardless of need
- A genuine love for working with children
- Team spirit, empathy, and a caring nature
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with speech and language support
- Understanding of Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC)
- Previous SEN-related training or qualifications
- Familiarity with interventions and assessments
