Caterlink is looking for a talented and enthusiastic School Cook to lead our kitchen team at Hatch Warren Infant School. In this role, you will prepare nutritious, delicious, and well-balanced meals that fuel our young students for a day of learning.Key Responsibilities
- Plan and cook healthy meals from scratch following school food standard guidelines.
- Manage kitchen inventory, ordering ingredients, and strict stock control.
- Maintain excellent standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety (HACCP).
- Supervise and support your kitchen assistants during the busy lunchtime service.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience cooking in a commercial, school, or care kitchen environment.
- Relevant catering qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Food Preparation).
- A valid Food Hygiene Certificate and deep knowledge of food safety rules.
- A warm, friendly attitude with excellent teamwork and leadership skills.
