School Minibus Driver

Grade B (Actual salary - £8,882 - £9,001 per annum)

15 hours per week, 39 week term time contract (Paid pro rata over 12 months)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable Minibus Driver to transport students safely to and from school on designated routes within the local area.

Applicants must have a minimum of two years' driving experience and hold a current, clean, valid driving licence with Category D1 entitlement. A MiDAS certificate is desirable; however, training can be provided for the successful candidate.

This position is term-time only and includes INSET days. The standard working pattern is Monday to Friday:

  • 07:15 – 08:45
  • 14:45 –16:15

Flexibility is required, as additional hours may occasionally be necessary to support school activities.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
  • An understanding of driving-related health and safety requirements
  • A positive, professional attitude
  • An awareness and understanding of working within a school environment
