The Science Department is a dynamic and well-resourced environment, housed in modern classrooms spread over two floors, with prep rooms on both levels. Our experienced and friendly science team works collaboratively to deliver outstanding practical science experiences for our students, who enjoy the subject and achieve excellent exam results.
The Role
As our school continues to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic and well-organised Science Technician to support the efficient running of our science laboratories. This role involves setting up classroom equipment and materials for practical lessons, maintaining stock and equipment, and potentially demonstrating techniques to students.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for science and an interest in supporting high-quality practical learning.
- A Level or GCSE science qualifications (previous experience in a lab or as a technician is desirable but not essential).

Salary: Grade C £21,411 - £22,310 per annum (FTE: £24,405 - £25,430 per annum)
Contract: Full-time (37 hours per week – 8.00 am to 4.00 pm daily) or part-time will be considered for the right candidate
