The role and what we are looking for
Due to the promotion of the current second in maths, we are looking to recruit a dynamic and inspiring Second in Mathematics to support our Head of Maths. The successful candidate will be required to develop teaching and learning in Maths across KS3 and KS4 to the highest standard and continue to ensure that Mathematics remains core to all we do in Academy life.
Our mathematics team has developed a curriculum that encourages resilience and independence, builds confidence through consolidation, and spirals through topics for a deepening of knowledge. We are looking for someone who is fully on board with the academy vision, ready to take on ownership of establishing and maintaining great practice, effective data evaluation, and innovating our maths offer. This role will involve responsibilities and experiences which will provide excellent preparation for those aspiring for to be a Head of Mathematics in the future.
