Contract/Hours: Permanent Contract, 25 hours per week part-time, term time only. 40 weeks per term including Inset days (45.62 paid weeks per year).
Salary Type: Support Staff
Salary Details: Support Staff Pay Grade E, (£33,178 to £36,369 FTE), £19,667.88 to £21,559.44 actual dependant on experience.
Hours of Work: Full time – 31.25 hour per week - 40 weeks per year term time only including INSETS days (45.62 paid weeks a year).

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a well organised and efficient Senior Administrative Officer to join our excellent administrative team. The position is for 25 hours a week, (may be more hours dependent on experience), with a grade E salary - range £19,667.88 to £21,559.44 (£33,178 to £36369 full Time Equivalent, depending on experience).
The successful applicant will be an excellent multi-tasker, working to tight deadlines and organising your own workload. You will need excellent communication and ICT skills, be able to remain calm under pressure and have a good sense of humour. You will work in close partnership with our administrative assistants. You will work with the Head Teacher on the strategic direction of the school.
The admin officer’s duties include preparing and monitoring the school budget, dealing with personnel and payroll, processing orders and invoices, dealing with Health and safety and premises issues and being the Data Protection Officer for the school. You will line manage admin and caretaking staff.
Knowledge of SAP software, experience of SIMS and HCC Personnel procedures and practice is desirable, although appropriate training will be given. A certificate of School Business Management would be desirable but is not essential
