Job Introduction

Lakeside School is an Outstanding Day and Residential Special School for 97 boys aged between 10 and 16 who have social, mental and/or emotional health difficulties.  Many have associated difficulties including Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder.

The School received an "Outstanding" rating from Ofsted in June 2024.

We are looking to recruit a Senior Residential Child Care Worker to work 37 hours per week which will include 2 sleep-in sessions per week.

Working as part of a team you will provide care and support for up to 23 boys.  A Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People, or equivalent, is desirable or a willingness to study for a similar qualification.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic and supportive team focused on pupil progress and will have access to excellent training and development opportunities.
