Job Introduction
We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Site Assistant, who has high expectations and continuously strives for the very best outcomes. This an exciting opportunity to join The Hamble School. We have been recently graded as ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted and we are continuing to ensure that we provide the very best education for all our students.
The Site Team have a vitally important role to play within the school from Health and Safety to general routine maintenance. You will need to be flexible and able to quickly adapt to a constantly changing workload. The successful applicants must be able to work under both instruction and autonomously, using their own initiative when undertaking tasks without supervision. Applicants will need to be reliable, fit, active and demonstrate a positive attitude to working in an educational environment. We are constantly striving to improve the site facilities and take great pride in the appearance of the school. Some experience with routine maintenance and Health and safety would be advantageous but full training will be given. The successful candidates will be required to undertake training where required to gain more advanced skills.
