Site Manager

Job Introduction

We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and proactive Site Manager to join our school community. The successful candidate will ensure that the site is safe, efficient and effective learning and working environment for students and staff.

This position would suit someone with previous site management experience, and knowledge of establishing and overseeing repairs and maintenance programmes. You will be a key holder, and responsible for building maintenance and ensuring that high standards of compliance are maintained, liaising with contractors and supporting longer-term development plans. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting health and safety throughout the school so must have a good knowledge of relevant legislation and procedures as well as the ability to communicate effectively. This is a busy, active and hands-on role, so the ability to manage your time effectively and work to deadlines is essential.

Occasional evening/weekend work may be required from time to time to meet operational needs. 

The successful candidate will be:

  • Passionate about ensuring the school site is exemplary
  • Understanding of the importance of health and safety in a school
  • Flexible and able to work as part of a team
  • Experienced in leading and supervising others
  • Highly organised with good time management, communication and IT skills
