Data Manager at Yateley School

Job Introduction

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Data Manager to join our dedicated team and play a key role in driving school improvement through the strategic use of data.

As Data Manager, you will lead the development and day-to-day operation of our data systems, including Bromcom, ensuring the accurate and effective use of student assessment, reporting, and curriculum data. You will manage data integrity across the school, coordinate statutory returns (such as the School Census), and provide vital support and training to staff in using Bromcom modules.

Working closely with senior leadership and curriculum teams, you will oversee the tracking and analysis of student progress, support timetable management, and ensure the seamless integration of data across all key areas – from assessment to pastoral care.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented, technically skilled professional with a strong understanding of school data systems and a passion for enabling student success through informed decision-making.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing school data systems (preferably Bromcom)
  • Strong knowledge of assessment, reporting and statutory returns
  • Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to lead training and support staff confidently
